The real questions,
the real answers.
Looking for a specific answer about payment, how long a path takes, or whether the certificates are recognized? This is the place. It's all here, no marketing spin, no handoff to a sales rep.
Getting started
The basics before you sign up.
An online technical school, in French. We publish career tracks bought once and yours for life, today, one complete track to become a Python developer.
Eight courses, 107 lessons and about ten hours of content: language basics, functions, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, performance, and testing. The full syllabus, lesson by lesson, is shown on the track page.
No. The first course starts from scratch. The advanced courses (“Intermediate OOP”, “Writing efficient Python”) assume you've done the earlier ones, that's why they're numbered in that order.
About ten hours of lessons. At three hours a week, expect a little over a month; nothing stops you doing it in one intensive week. There is no deadline: access is for life.
Yes. Two lessons are open to everyone, with no account needed, from the track page. They're enough to judge the pace, the voice and how dense the content is.
Learning
How the lessons work.
A narrated animated presentation: slides that unfold in time with a French voiceover, with the code on screen. It all plays in the browser, nothing to install.
Not to watch the lessons. To practise, yes, and the first course walks you through installing it step by step.
Yes, lesson by lesson. Close the tab mid-chapter and come back later: your learning space takes you back where you were. A lesson left unfinished starts again from the beginning.
No. Lessons play online: they're reserved for enrolled learners and are not downloadable.
Yes, the learning space and the player work on a phone. To read code comfortably, a larger screen is still better.
Any recent browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or Brave. JavaScript must be enabled.
Payment and access
What you pay, and what you get.
The price is shown on the track page. It's a one-off payment: no subscription, no renewal, and access stays open afterwards with no time limit.
Online payment isn't open yet. Write to contact@savoira.com: we'll tell you which payment methods are available and open your access as soon as it clears.
US dollars.
You get it at no extra cost: track updates are included in the original purchase.
